PARK CITY MOUNTAIN REACHES AGREEMENT WITH
PARK CITY PROFESSIONAL SKI PATROL ASSOCIATION |

On Tuesday night, Park City Mountain announced that it has reached a new contract agreement with the Park City Professional Ski Patrol Association, effectively ending the union's strike that began on December 27th.
This is welcome news, as it allows the resort to resume normal operations. The terms of the new agreement will remain in effect through April 2027. For more details on this story, read the Park Record article here. |

SUNDANCE FILM FESTIVAL

The 2025 Sundance Film Festival continues as one of the world's premier destinations for independent cinema. It features a diverse mix of groundbreaking films from both new and established filmmakers, drawing thousands of guests to town. Ticket packages are on sale now, and single film ticket sales open on Tuesday, January 14th.

ICE CASTLES OPEN SOON
Soldier Hollow | Midway
The Midway Ice Castles are tentatively set to open next week, Friday January 17th. This winter wonderland is not to be missed. Advance tickets are strongly recommended, and always check their website and social feeds to stay up-to-date on the latest info at the castles.

SILVER SKY NIGHTS
Canyons Village | Park City
What better way to après than with music, treats, fireworks and more. Music begins at 2pm, with fireworks starting shortly after sundown. Join the fun on the following dates:

2025 WINTER FESTIVAL
February 1 | Wasatch Mtn State Park
Come out to Wasatch Mountain State Park from 10am to 2pm for some winter fun. Explore the Park's groomed trails on cross country skis, snowshoes, and fat tire bikes. In addition to the on-trail fun there will be games, treats, hot chocolate, and prize giveaways!

SKI WORLD CUP
February 6 - 8 | Deer Valley® Resort
The world’s most elite mogul ski athletes compete on Deer Valley's world-renowned slopes in the Snow Park area. The event is free for spectators, so bundle up and watch the world's top mogul skiers and aerialists on February 6th (moguls), 7th (aerials), and 8th (dual moguls).

Utah Ski Joring is an action-packed competition where a horse and rider pull a skier or snowboarder along a course that includes gates, jumps, and rings. Ski Joring combines Utah's signature ski heritage with its cowboy roots, creating a wild, fast-paced, and spectacular competition. Get tickets early, as this must-see event does sell out!
