NEW YEAR, NEW SNOW!
The storm cycle has returned to Utah! We got a nice refresher earlier this week, and a parade of winter storms are forecast to dump a lot more snow on our mountains during the next several days!

PARK CITY RESORT'S
60th ANNIVERSARY
The Park City Resort will celebrate six decades since the resort first opened as Treasure Mountain in 1963. The resort has grown from a local skiing hub to a world-renowned resort. The anniversary celebrations will include live music, giveaways, a ski beach, and fireworks!

SNOW PARK PLANS MOVING FORWARD at DEER VALLEY®
Development plans for a new ski-in/ski-out village at Deer Valley's Snow Park have received a key approval from the Park City Council. The Council unanimously agreed to vacate a portion of the public right-of-way on Deer Valley Drive in order to accommodate a master plan that includes a ski beach with hotels, commercial space, a new transit hub, and some condos. |

From here the master plan will move to the Park City Planning Commission for review. The decision to vacate the road will remain contingent on the approval of the full project and the partnership agreement. There is also a two-year sunset clause on the road vacation if no action occurs.
For those interested in learning more about the plans for Snow Park, Deer Valley will be hosting an open house this evening, January 10th, from 4 - 6 pm at Snow Park Lodge. Deer Valley is asking for people to RSVP by emailing marketing@deervalley.com. |

| ICE CASTLES OPEN SOON
The Midway Ice Castles are set to open this coming weekend. This frozen wonder is not to be missed, and word on the street is that this year's design is better than ever! Advance tickets are strongly recommended, and always check their website and social feeds to stay up-to-date on the latest info at the castles.
