For the 24th year, Park City’s legendary pond skimming tradition is back, signaling the end of the ski season with a splash... and wipeouts, laughs, and costume creativity! Every year, locals prepare their kookiest attire and muster the courage to cross a 100-foot-long pond on skis or snowboards. Most of these costumed daredevils do not walk away dry! Cheer on the most daring and garishly dressed locals, laugh at their wipeouts, and stick around for the party. For more information, click here. 

For the third year, Pink Park City's ski day will conquer more than just the slopes. 100% of funds raised will support research at the Huntsman Cancer Institute to conquer all types of cancer. Park City Mountain will be covered in pink, with pink parties, pink decorations, and hundreds of pink skiers and snowboarders rallying together for a day of fun that everyone can enjoy. If you don't ski or snowboard, you can still party hard at Basecamp, and enjoy all the fun on the mountain without hitting the slopes. For more info click here.

Celebrate the magic of the mountain by exploring it before it opens to the public, followed by a meticulously prepared breakfast at Mid Mountain Lodge, the historic miners’ boarding house, transformed into a modern and bold dining experience. Park City’s mining history comes alive with volunteers from Friends of Ski Mountain Mining History. Skiers/riders must be capable of skiing intermediate terrain. For more information, click here.

The Utah Barrel Racing Association brings you the fastest barrel racing in the West April 24 -26 at the Wasatch County Event Center Indoor Arena. Over 400 competitors will race over three days, running for fast cash and amazing prizes. For more information, click here.

The is the 11th annual Running with Ed! This 38-mile, 10-leg race traverses spectacular Park City and gets you home in time to have a play date or a date night. The course is great for beginners and marathoners, offering legs ranging from 1.8 miles to 10 miles. It also offers everything from trail to pavement, and challenging climbs to fast downhills. The 2020 Wasatch Back Relay will be the last year racing the original course from Logan to Kamas! For one last time, runners will come together in Logan to kick off their adventure, conquering one of the more difficult races in the Ragnar series. From there, teams run two days and one star-filled night, through friendly communities and up stunning green mountainsides.

For the 10th year in a row the filth comes to Utah's Soldier Hollow.  Join everyone for a day of getting dirty on the beautifully muddy course for the Utah spring event!

The Dirty Dash proves that anyone can “Play Dirty.” This filthy 5K empowers couch potatoes and athletes alike to put on their running shoes and make some fun for themselves. You don't have to be tough to play dirty - it's the mud run for everyone! The sloppy mud pits, slip’n’slides, and foam baths are prep’d for even more filthy fun than ever before. More info here.

Mischief, mayhem, and maybe a little madness take over at the St. Regis Deer Valley for the Saints and Sinners Ball to support the Student Outreach Programs of the Park City Institute. Shenanigans and high-jinx, auctions, a champagne sabering, plus traditional Irish fare and libations conspire to create an evening that is decidedly whimsical. Recycle Utah’s annual Earth Day fundraiser at Wasatch Brew Pub on Wednesday, April 22  from 5 to 8 pm is a celebration of the beautiful Earth and the work we do together to protect it. This 2020 Earth Day Celebration will include food, drinks, live music, and a silent auction. Registration includes dinner and two drink tickets. Be sure to register early!  More info here.
