1st Qtr 2025 Real Estate Market
 
Strong Sales  |  Steady Inventory  |  Stable Investment

The latest stats from the Park City MLS were recently released, and they indicate continued stability in our local real estate market here in Park City and the Wasatch Back. Through the 1st Quarter of 2025, we experienced steady sales growth and stable inventory across the overall market area. Following the volatility of the pandemic years, our market appears to have settled into its normal seasonal patterns.
Moving forward, all eyes remain on the national economy as we wait to see how tariffs will affect the real estate market and the broader financial landscape. Interestingly, there is evidence that our housing market is an increasingly attractive investment for those seeking stable alternatives to the recent turmoil of the equity markets. It turns out that Park City is not just a great place to live - it's also a resilient investment, even in periods of uncertainty.

SINGLE-FAMILY TRENDS
Across the primary market area of both Summit and Wasatch counties, year-over-year single-family home sales activity was strong through the 1st Quarter of 2025. There were 1,042 sales, representing a 19% increase over the prior year. This led to a 21% increase in sales volume—$2.75 billion! Median single-family home prices remained flat at $1.66M, a 0.7% decrease compared to the year prior. 

CONDOMINIUM TRENDS
Condominium sales and prices across the primary market area tracked closely with those for single-family homes. There were 955 sales transactions through the first quarter of 2025, which was a 19% increase year-over-year. Total sales volume was up 30% to $1.54B, with an average price increase of 9% to $1.6M, and the median price increased 1% to $1.15M.

VACANT LAND TRENDS
Vacant land sales in the primary market area were also up 19% year-over-year through the 1st Quarter of 2025, with 445 closed transactions. The total volume for that period was $595M, with an average price increase of 7% to $1.33M and a median price decrease of 4% to $815K.

PARK CITY |   A Stable Investment
Real estate in the greater Park City area has long been sought after for the quality of life and recreational opportunities that it offers, and it turns out it's increasingly attractive for the stability it provides as an investment. With the recent volatility and uncertainty surrounding other asset classes, luxury real estate is viewed as a relatively stable refuge for investment.

So while existing home sales nationally have been trending down, our sales numbers in Greater Park City have been increasing. We've also seen a 20% increase in all-cash transactions, which suggests that some investors may be shifting away from equities and into luxury real estate.

We'll continue to keep a close eye on the economy, as tariffs could greatly impact the cost of new home construction. And while all-cash transactions are up, interest rates still affect our market, so monitoring rates is always important. But the big takeaway is what we've been telling folks for as long as anyone would listen—the Wasatch Back is both a great place to live and an outstanding investment!

SINGLE-FAMILY HOMES   
Within Park City limits, total unit sales were up 12% with 124 units sold, while sales volume increased 17%. The median price of a single-family home within Park City limits rose 8% to $3.96M. Only 34 homes sold in the popular Old Town area in the 12 months preceding the end of the 1st Quarter of 2025, with the median price dipping 4% to $3.6 million. Park Meadows closed sales were up 7% with 32 homes sold, and the median price was up 18% to $3.68M. Thaynes Canyon had a 150% increase in sales with 15 total closings, with a median price up 21% to $4.6M. Lower Deer Valley had 8 total sales and a median price decrease of 2% to $4.495M, while Deer Crest had 7 total sales with an 11% increase in median price to $12M. Prospector unit sales were down 7%, with 14 homes sold on a 10% increase in median price to $2.19M.

Condominium unit sales in Park City limits increased 12% with 268 closed sales, while the median sale price was up 28% to $1.88M. Sales in Old Town were down 10% with 93 closings, while the median price ticked up 2% to $1.2M. Deer Crest sales boomed 343% on 31 closings, with a median price increase of 2% to $4.24M. Lower Deer Valley had a 36% increase in sales to 34 units, and the median price rose a slight 1% to $2.19M. In Upper Deer Valley, unit sales were down 9% with 20 total closings, but the median price soared 82% to $4.195M. Empire Pass sales were up 4% on 25 total closings, with a 17% increase in median price to 5.4M. Prospector's unit sales were flat on 36 closings, with the median price down 2% to $379K. Park Meadows sales activity increased 27% on 28 total closings, with the median price dropping 17% to $1.45M.

SINGLE-FAMILY HOMES 

The Snyderville sales units were up 24% with 346 closings, and a median price increase of 6% to $2.44M. However, when we look closer, we see that Snyderville Basin again demonstrates the wide variance we have between and within neighborhoods around Park City. Of the 346 sales in the basin, the highest price was $27.8 million, nearly twice the second priciest sale while the lowest was $760,000. Eleven sales were under $1 million, mostly in Summit Park and Kimball Junction near I-80. Ten were above $10 million, with three each falling in Promontory, Canyons Village and Old Ranch Road, all on lots of 5 acres or more.

Glenwild was one of the hot spots with unit sales up 110% on 21 closings, led by interest around the golf course. Despite the sales activity, the median price dipped 10% to $5.06M. Silver Creek Estates sales boomed 214% on 22 closings as homeowners cashed in on a 42% rise in the median price to over $2.57 million. Promontory sales were up 9% on 87 closings, with a 4% decrease in median price to $4.2M. Old Ranch Road sales were up 80% with 9 closings and a robust median price increase of 46% to $5.9M.
Sun Peak/Bear Hollow saw an 18% increase in unit sales with 13 closings, while the median price dropped 8% to $2.26M. Jeremy Ranch sales units increased 5% with 41 units sold and a median price increase of 10% to $1.9M, while Pinebrook sales increased 55% with 34 closings on a flat median price of $1.75M. Summit Park unit sales increased 50% with 30 closings, but the median price was down 12% to $1.24M. Trailside Park closings were flat with 16 sales, and the median price increased 11% to $1.77M. Silver Creek South unit sales increased 29% with 27 closings, and the median price dropped 9% to $1.1M. Single-family home sales in Canyons Village were down 50% with only 6 closings, and the median price was down 7% to $9.85M.

Condo unit sales across the Snyderville Basin were up slightly, with a 3% increase in unit sales with 257 total closings, while the median sale price dipped 4% to $995K. Canyons Village sales units dropped 8% on 116 closings, and the median price decreased 5% to $1.3M. Kimball Junction had a 7% decrease in sales units, with 39 total closings, while the median price ticked up 1% to $649K. Silver Creek South had a 19% decrease in sales units, with 21 total, and had a slight 1% median price increase to $995K. Pinebrook had an 11% increase in closings with 30 units sold, and the median price rose 5% to $962K. Jeremy Ranch had a 200% increase with 12 closings and a 9% median price increase to $1.28M. Sun Peak and Bear Hollow had a robust 88% increase in units sold with 32 closings, although the median price slipped 5% to $946K.

SINGLE-FAMILY HOMES   

Jordanelle had 84 total closings, an 11% increase from the previous twelve month period, and the median price jumped 23% to $4.04M. Tuhaye saw a large jump in prices, with the median price up 41% to $5.63M on 21 closings (down22%). Hideout experienced a 50% increase in sales activity with 21 total sales and also enjoyed an 15% increase in median price to $2.55M. Deer Mountain closings were flat with 10 units sold, but the median price rose 47% to $3.11M. Mayflower-Jordanelle had 9 closings with a median price increase of 28% to $4.05M, and South Jordanelle's unit sales were up 35% with 23 closings and a median uptick of 6% to $4.2M.
 

CONDOMINIUMS   

The condominium market around the Jordanelle provides a great example of the nuances in our local real estate market. While the Jordanelle sales volume increased 56% year over year, the median sale price rose only 9%. The reason for this disparity is that a large share of the condo sales in the Jordanelle were newly-constructed units in the Pioche development, 
which sold at an average price of $550k, which is one-third of the overall area average. This was balanced to some degree by sales in the new developments at Mayflower Lakeside that sold on average at $1.6 million. There were 102 total sales in Deer Valley's East Village on a median price of $959K and an average price of $1.54M.

Elsewhere around Jordanelle, sales units in Deer Mountain were down 16% with 47 closings, and median prices dropped 9% to $998K. Hideout sales units were down 7% with 67 total, and the median price was up 9% to $1.45M. In Jordanelle Park closings were down 22% with 95 units sold, with a 10% rise in median price to $1.25M.

SINGLE-FAMILY HOMES  

Heber Valley continued to be a hot area, with an 11% increase in sales to 322 units, with a relatively modest 6% increase in median price to just over $1 million. The Heber area is forecast to continue its growth trajectory in the years to come due to multiple construction projects of new homes north of town.

Midway closings were up 24% with 88 units sold, on a slight median price decrease of 3% to $1.16M. Red Ledges sales units were unchanged, with 39 total closings, on a 10% median price increase to $3.3M. Heber Proper experienced a 32% decrease in sales, with 68 homes sold. Median sale prices were up 1% to $755k. Heber East sales units were up 19% on 31 total closings, and the median price rose 20% to $1.4M. Heber North was active with closings up 56% on 28 sales, and a median price decrease of 4% to $798K. Timber Lakes closings were up 92% with 48 total sales, and median prices dipped 3% to $802K.

Condominium sales in Heber Valley were up 133% on 107 closings, while median price dropped 7% to $539,900. Midway sales units were up 131% with 30 total closings, while the median price dipped 9% to $491,000. The median price in Red Ledges dipped 7% to $1.63M, while prices in Heber proper were up 14% to $479,900 on a 71% increase in unit sales with 29 total. Heber North condominium sales were up 4100% with 42 closings and a 3% median price increase to $591,550.
INVENTORY  |   A New Normal?
 
Inventory levels for our market area have settled into a stable pattern, though levels remain roughly one-third lower than in pre-pandemic years.  Looking at the inventory trends over the past few years, this appears to be our new normal.

Total active listings at the end of the first quarter of 2025 were nearly identical to the year prior. However, it is noteworthy that single-family listings are up roughly 30% while vacant land listings have decreased almost the same amount, down 29%.

So, if our overall inventory levels are the same as last year and single-family home inventory is actually higher, then why does it feel like there aren’t very many homes on the market? It may be due to the fact that our market area has expanded greatly over the last several years, with “Greater Park City” encompassing more areas of Wasatch County and the I-80 corridor than in past times. So our inventory is actually spread fairly thin across that increased area, amounting to fewer listings per square mile.

The Shoulder Season Scoop | Spring 2025

It has been another great year of skiing here in northern Utah! The season isn't quite over yet, but the longer days and warmer weather have us thinking about the upcoming shoulder season fun here in the Wasatch Back. We love this time of year for its variety — you can make some turns in the morning and be out on the trails and golf courses in the afternoon. And for those with a little wanderlust, now is the perfect time to head out of town to enjoy a spring getaway.

Ski Season WINDS DOWN
First things first - many of our resorts are still open, so get out and enjoy their slopes before they close. Pro tip: Don't miss the closing days at Deer Valley® and Park City, as those final dates of the season are always festive and fun.

For the die-hard skiers out there, don't despair. It looks like you will be able to make turns well into May. That is seven months for the 2024-25 ski season! No wonder so many passionate skiers call Utah home.

How time flies!

Mid-February is already here, which means we’ve passed the halfway mark of ski season in the Wasatch Back. After a dry spell in January, the snow returned over the past few weeks, delivering a powder-filled stretch that made for excellent conditions for our Valentine's Day and President’s Day Weekend!

There’s still plenty of winter fun ahead in Park City and the Wasatch Back, with a great mix of snowy days and sunshine in the forecast. Read on for the latest news and events around town—hope to see you soon!
 


SNOW RETURNS -
WITH MORE IN STORE!

After a relatively quiet January, winter made a strong comeback in northern Utah. Snowstorms rolled through this past weekend, delivering fresh powder to all the resorts in the area. By Monday morning, storm totals ranged from 20 to 45 inches!

Looking ahead, the weather remains unsettled, with snow expected to continue off and on through the end of the week.

This recent snowfall has been a welcome boost to northern Utah’s snowpack, bringing levels close to normal for this time of year. With any luck, the snow will keep coming—setting us up for fantastic spring skiing and ensuring healthy river and reservoir levels heading into summer.
 

SOLAR SPRING IS HERE!

As the recent snowy weather attests, meteorological spring is still a little ways off. However, Solar Spring has arrived! Never heard of solar spring? Solar spring is the time of year where the duration of our days increases the fastest, and it officially began on February 5th. Just take a look at this sunrise/sunset table for our area. You'll see that we gain over an hour of daylight this month!

SUNDANCE WRAP-UP

The 2025 Sundance Film Fest wrapped up at the beginning of this month, and as usual it was a very busy week in and around town. The fan favorite award went to the documentary Come See Me in the Good Light, which follows two poets as they explore mortality, love, and life. The complete list of the festival's award winners can be found here. 
The future of the Sundance Festival in Park City remains uncertain, as organizers continue to explore host city options for 2027 and beyond. We of course are hoping that the organizers will decide to return to Utah. In the meantime, we look forward to next year's festival in Park City from January 22nd - February 1st.

PARK CITY SONG SUMMIT

The Park City Song Summit is set to return this summer from August 14-16. While the lineup is still taking shape, there is no doubt that the Summit will continue to offer an unmatched combination of music, dialogue, and celebration of the artistic experience. This year's festival is seeking to move to City Park and the Park City Library.
Keep an eye out on the Park City Song Summit website for updates on scheduling, location, and lineup. Be sure to grab tickets as soon as they become available - this is one of Park City's must-see events!

Market Pulse: 2024 Year-End Review

 

The Park City Multiple Listing Service (PCMLS) just published its statistics for the fourth quarter of 2024, and the numbers show that our market is in good shape as we head into 2025. Over the past year, our market was characterized by strong demand, active sales, and stable pricing.
Increased sales activity in our market led to a slight decrease in year-end inventory, and we will welcome the seasonal influx of listings that typically accompany the spring and summer seasons. In the meantime, home builders remain active and are slowly but surely adding to our housing stock, particularly in Jordanelle and Heber Valley.

PRICES & ACTIVITY  |  Greater Park City
Since 2001, prices have appreciated 6.7% annually. Since the last major low point in 2012, prices are up 9.2% annually. Prices have started to level off recently, perhaps signaling a lateral drift toward the mean following the supercharged appreciation that occurred during the pandemic years.
 
MEDIAN PRICES  |  Greater Park City Single-Family, Condo, and Land Properties 
 
Like price appreciation, closed sales surged during the early pandemic years. This spike in activity was followed by a sharp decline in closed sales, primarily due to limited inventory. In 2024, closed sales rebounded strongly, driven by high demand and an improved influx of inventory. In fact, 2024’s sales matched or even exceeded the average levels of the pre-pandemic years from 2013 to 2019.

SINGLE-FAMILY TRENDS
For 2024, single-family home sales saw a strong boost across the primary market area. The number of transactions jumped 19% year-over-year, while total sales volume rose 17%. Prices remained steady, with the median home price edging up 1.5% to $1.65M, while the average home price dipped slightly by 2% to $2.31M.

CONDOMINIUM TRENDS
Market trends for condominiums in the primary market area generally followed the same trends as the single-family market in 2024, with sales transactions up 21% and volume up 14%. Prices were down slightly, with median price down 3% to $1.1M and average price down 6% to $1.43M.

VACANT LAND TRENDS
Vacant land sales volume in the primary market area was up 41% year-over-year during 2024, with a 26% increase in total closed transactions. Median prices nudged down 3% to $802,000, while average price was up 12% to $1.31M.

The 30-year fixed-rate has hovered between 6% and 7% for most of the last two and a half years. That trend continued this week, with the average rate remaining essentially flat at 6.95%. Driven by these higher rates and a persistent supply shortage, affordability hurdles still exist for many homebuyers and a significant number of them remain on the sidelines.

Within Park City limits, total unit sales were up 9% with 111 units sold, while sales volume increased 8%. The median price of a single-family home within Park City limits during 2024 rose 11% to $4.08M. In Old Town, 34 single-family homes sold, representing an increase of 26%. The median price for a home in Old Town increased 7% to $3.74M, while the average price increased 1% to $3.85M. Park Meadows closed sales were down 19% with 25 homes sold, but the median price was up 10% to $3.48M, and the average price increased 16% to $4.24M. Thaynes Canyon had a 180% increase in sales with 14 total closings, with median price up 22% to $4.5M and average price increasing 4% to $4.36M. Lower Deer Valley had 9 total sales and a median price decrease of 5% to $4.35M, while Deer Crest had 5 total sales with a 7% decrease in median price to $12M. Prospector unit sales were down 14% with 12 homes sold on a 5% increase in median price to $2.09M.
CONDOMINIUMS   
Condominium unit sales in Park City limits increased 4% with 242 closed sales, while the median sale price was unchanged at $1.61M. Sales in Old Town during 2024 were the same as the year prior with 96 closings, while the median price ticked up 4% to $1.21M. Lower Deer Valley had a 10% increase in sales to 32 units, and the median price soared 31% to $2.22M. In Upper Deer Valley unit sales were down 14% with 18 total closings, and median price dropped 26% to $2.66M. Empire Pass sales were down 29% on 20 total closings, with a 12% increase in median price to 5.14M. Prospector's unit sales were up 32% on 41 closings, with the median price down 5% to $380K. Park Meadows sales activity increased 43% on 30 total closings, with the median price remaining flat at $1.69M.

SINGLE-FAMILY HOMES 
As usual, the Snyderville Basin demonstrated a great deal of variance across its neighborhoods. Of the 324 sales in the basin, the highest price was $15 million while the lowest was $760,000. Eleven sales were under $1 million while nine were above $10 million. Promontory was the major standout in the Snyderville Basin during 2024, accounting for a third of all active listings (53 of 155), a quarter of all sales (84 of 324), and 42% of all sales volume. The median price was up 7% to $4.45M. Silver Springs was another one of the hot spots with 32 closings, a 68% increase. While unit sales were up, the median price in Silver Springs dipped 8% to $2.2M. Closings in Pinebrook were up 24% with 31 sales, and a 3% increase in median price to $1.8M. Glenwild and Silver Creek Estates were also active during 2024, with sales totals of 19 homes and 16 homes respectively, representing increases of 46% and 45%. However, the median price in Glenwild was down 7% while Silver Creek Estates' median price was up 26%.
Sun Peak/Bear Hollow saw a 25% increase in unit sales with 15 closings, while the median price rose significantly, up 33% to $2.26M. Jeremy Ranch continued a trend of strong sales, with a 21% increase in closings to 41 units sold, and a median price increase of 13% to $1.9M. Summit Park unit sales increased 58% with 30 closings, but the median price was down 9% to $1.27M. Trailside Park closings were down 22% with 14 sales, and the median price dipped 4% to $1.54M. Silver Creek South unit sales dropped 34% with 21 closings, and the median price dropped 8% to $1.1M. Single-family home sales in Canyons Village were down 73% during 2024 with only 4 closings, and the median price was down 32% to $7.05M.
CONDOMINIUMS  
Condo unit sales across the Snyderville Basin were up slightly, with a 3% increase in unit sales with 264 total closings, while the median sale price rose 1% to $1M. Canyons Village accounted for 57% of the total sales volume in the Snyderville Basin, but sales units dipped 4% on 125 closings, and the median price decreased 15% to $1.18M. 

Elsewhere, Kimball Junction had a 22% decrease in sales units, with 36 total closings, while the median price increased 36% to $790K. Silver Creek South had a 9% increase in sales units with 25 total and had a 7% median price increase to $1.02M. Pinebrook had a 24% increase in closings with 31 units sold, and the median price rose 33% to $995K. Sun Peak and Bear Hollow had a whopping 81% increase in units sold with 29 closings and a substantial 15% increase in median price to $1.05M.

SINGLE-FAMILY HOMES   
Among the outlying areas, Jordanelle had the lowest number of sales, with 88 total closings in 2024, a 14% decrease from the previous year. However, the median price of single-family homes jumped 18% year over year to $3.76M. Tuhaye saw a large jump in prices, with the median price up 33% to $5.14M and the average price up 26% to $5.43M. In doing so, Tuhaye once again edged out Promontory as the most expensive area west of Hwy 40/189. Hideout experienced a 109% increase in sales activity with 23 total sales and also enjoyed an 8% increase in median price to $2.47M. Deer Mountain had 10 closings, representing a 17% decrease, but the median price rose 17% to $2.51M. Jordanelle Park had 10 closings with a median price increase of 26% to $3.7M, and South Jordanelle's unit sales were up 11% with 21 closings and a median uptick of 6% to $4.2M.
CONDOMINIUMS   
For 2024, the condominium market in Jordanelle exhibited some interesting numbers - sales volume increased 41% year over year, but the median sale price rose only 7%. The reason for this disparity is that almost a quarter of the condo sales in the Jordanelle were newly constructed units in the Pioche development, where units sell for less than half of the overall area median. This lower price point was balanced by sales in the new developments at Mayflower Lakeside and the Grand Hyatt Deer Valley where units sell in the $1.8 to $2.4 million range. The greater Deer Valley East Village was very active during 2024, with a 780% increase in unit sales with 132 closings on an 82% median price increase to $742K.

Elsewhere around Jordanelle, sales units in Deer Mountain were down 19% with 48 closings, but median prices were up 5% to $1.06M. Hideout sales units were down 8% with 67 total, and the median price was up 7% to $1.39M. In Jordanelle Park closings were down 8% with 78 units sold, with a robust 37% increase in median price to $1.25M.

SINGLE-FAMILY HOMES  
During 2024 Heber Valley continued to be the busiest spot in the primary market area for single-home sales, fueled by its wonderful setting and attractive price point. Unit sales were up 32% on 334 total closings, and median prices were up 5% to $992,000. Midway closings were up 45% with 93 units sold, on a modest median price decrease of 4% to $1.15M. Red Ledges sales units increased 24% with 41 total closings, on a 9% median price increase to $3.05M. Heber Proper experienced a 13% decrease in sales with 78 homes sold. Median sale prices were up 4% to $768k. Heber East sales units were up 23% on 27 total closings, and the median price rose 40% to $1.65M.  Heber North was very active last year with closings up 92% on 25 sales, and a median price increase of 4% to $808K. Timber Lakes closings were up 133% with 49 total sales, and median prices dropped 14% to $780K.
CONDOMINIUMS   
In 2024, condominium sales in Heber Valley surged to 91 total units sold, representing a 107% increase. The median price dropped slightly, down 8% to $534,900. Midway sales units were up 87% with 28 total closings, while the median price dipped 1% to $491,000. The median price also dipped in Red Ledges, down 9% to $1.57M, while prices in Heber proper were up 14% to $477,400. Unit sales in Heber were up 60% on 24 closings.
INVENTORY  |   Down Year-Over-Year
 
Although more homes entered the market in 2024 than the previous year, they were quickly absorbed, resulting in slightly lower inventory levels by year-end. A total of 3,453 residential properties were listed on the Park City MLS in 2024, a 14% increase from the prior year. However, strong demand led to a 20% rise in closings, which easily absorbed the increase in listings and brought year-end inventory down slightly. By the end of 2024, there were 1,320 homes listed, a 4.2% decrease from the previous year.
 
In Greater Park City, there were 721 residential listings as of January 1, 2025 compared to 840 at the same time the year prior - a 14% decrease. By property type, condominiums are down 13%, single-family homes are down 3%, and vacant land is down 27%.
 
Inventory levels are very seasonal, so we expect the number of listings and level of inventory to improve as the busy spring and summer seasons approach.

NEW CONSTRUCTION
As inventory remains below optimal levels, we are thankful that new construction is helping meet the strong demand for homes in our market area.
During 2024, new construction was responsible for a quarter of all sales volume and over a quarter of the closed sales in the greater Park City area. Most new construction is taking place in the Jordanelle area, with Snyderville and Heber accounting for much of the remaining activity. (see graph)
While it is easy to pinpoint where the new construction is taking place, the effect it is having on pricing is more mixed. New homes are being built across the spectrum of residential offerings, including everything from entry-level condos in Kimball Junction to ultra-luxury residences in White Pine Canyon. So, the pricing influence of new construction varies widely according to area. No matter how many new homes we add to our market, it will always be nuanced and highly segmented, which is why buyers and sellers need professional, well-informed agents!

FREE PARKING WITH TRANSIT
The following free parking options are by far the best for most festival visitors, as parking in Old Town is costly and very limited.

Richardson Flat Park-and-Ride offers free parking with free transit every 15 minutes to and from Old Town, from 6:40 am-2:00 am. The last bus to Richardson Flat leaves the Old Town Transit Center at 2:00 am.
Deer Valley Resort will allow the use of Parking Lots 5 and 6 outside of resort hours (5pm-1am daily) during the Festival.

Park City Mountain Village will allow the use of their parking lots outside resort hours (5pm-1am daily) during the Festival. Free Park City Transit connects the resort to the Old Town Transit Center, from where you can walk or transfer buses.

DINING DURING SUNDANCE

Although some restaurants are closed for private gatherings, many will continue their regular operating hours to accommodate both residents and tourists. PARK CITY MOUNTAIN REACHES AGREEMENT WITH 
PARK CITY PROFESSIONAL SKI PATROL ASSOCIATION
On Tuesday night, Park City Mountain announced that it has reached a new contract agreement with the Park City Professional Ski Patrol Association, effectively ending the union's strike that began on December 27th.

This is welcome news, as it allows the resort to resume normal operations. The terms of the new agreement will remain in effect through April 2027. For more details on this story, read the Park Record article here.
 
NEW YEAR, NEW SNOW!

December got off to a slow start, but thanks to a parade of storms during the past couple of weeks our snowpack here in northern Utah is shaping up very nicely. We are now sitting slightly above normal for this time of year.
